CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT, MODERNIZATION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF BY-PRODUCT COKING INDUSTRY UNITS

1. DESIGNING OF COKE OVENS, COKE-PITCH OVENS AND CDCPs;

Participation in development of design documentation on construction, reconstruction, expansion and modernization of by-product coking industry units, performance of designer's technical supervision carried out on a contractual basis with the customer, design institutes and design bureaus.


2. DELIVERY OF REFRACTORY PRODUCTS, MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT;

2.1. DELIVERY OF SILICA, FIRECLAY REFRACTORY PRODUCTS AND MORTARS FOR LAYING OF COKE OVENS:

• Monitoring of priority, dates of manufacture and delivery of refractory products;
• Acceptance of refractory products in the storehouses of the customer;
• Cargo handling;
• Quality control of the delivered refractory products, sorting and stacking of refractory brick shapes in stacks on pallets in respect to priority of coke oven battery’s brickwork laying;
• Supervision over supply of refractory materials to the site.

2.2. SUPPLY OF PLANT AND EQUIPMENT:

• Control of equipment consistency with the design requirements;
• Control of quality, production time and equipment supply;
• Acceptance of equipment at the Customer's storehouses;

3. CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION WORK;

• Organizational and technological preparation, including implementation of a package of measures ensuring safe execution of construction and installation works;
• Execution of construction and installation works based on strict adherence to the technology:
• Quality control of bricklaying work as per the design requirements;
• Supervision over installation of thermo-technical equipment, valves and accessories;
• Supervision over installation of process equipment and metal structures;

4. TECHNICAL SUPERVISION

Engineering supervision over construction is carried out in the best interests of the customer, to ensure quality control of construction works including constant assessment of compliance of all elements of the object under construction with the industrial safety requirements established by the technical rules, specification documents and standards. Technical supervision technology makes it possible to control the sequence of construction and installation work.

5. DRYING, HEATING AND START UP OF COKE OVEN BATTERIES

• Drying and warming up to operating temperatures of the whole refractory brickwork of coke oven battery with any gas heating agency;
• Switching coke oven battery on to a permanent  heating regime;
• Start up of coke oven battery and first coke discharge;
• First intake of coke oven gas into the plant’s gas pipe line, start-up of processing installations.
• Development of the plant up to the design production capacity with primary adjustment of thermal and hydraulic regimes and issuing of the production procedure.
